Vintage Tea-Time: Parle-G S’Mores & Chocolate Mousse

When I think of Parle-G, it instantly reminds me of a cup of chai and takes me back to school days. And a chocolate mousse to go with it, is a strawberry on the top. This quick, yet flavoursome recipe will fill your hearts with nostalgia and bring back a thousand memories.

This quick and easy recipe is sure to make you fall in love with Parle-G all over again.

For Chocolate Mousse

You will need:

Fresh Cream – 100ml

Dark Chocolate – 140g

Granulated Sugar – 2tbs

Salt – A pinch

For Filling – Strawberries, granola, dry fruits

Method

Place dark chocolate and salt in a bowl and boil using a double boiler. Let it cool. In a separate bowl, whisk cream and sugar until thick and fluffy. Mix both the mixtures together. Fill a jar with layers of mousse, granola crunch and berries and set it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours prior to serving.

For Parle-G S’Mores

You will need:

Some Parle-G biscuits

A packet of marshmallows

Melted Dark Chocolate

Crushed Almonds

Method

In a tray, spread biscuits and place one marshmallow on each biscuit. Put this tray in the oven for just 5 mins till you see the marshmallows melted. Immediately take the tray out and put another layer of biscuit on the top. dip this in dark chocolate and sprinkle some crushed almonds.
